TIPS AND GUIDES
How to care for your new clothes
Read the care label
Before washing, always check the care label inside your garment. This label provides specific instructions on how to properly care for the fabric, including washing temperature, drying methods, and whether the item should be ironed or dry cleaned.
Wash with care
Turn the garment inside out and wash it according to the instructions on the label. For the first wash, it's often best to wash new clothes separately to prevent any potential color bleeding. Use a gentle detergent and avoid using too much fabric softener, which can affect the fabric’s quality.
Iron and store properly
After washing, dry your clothes as recommended on the care label. When ironing, set the iron to the appropriate temperature for the fabric. Be sure to iron on the reverse side if the garment is delicate or has any prints. Once dry and ironed, store your clothes in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight to keep them looking fresh.
How to use 1-2
Organize your closet efficiently
A well-organized closet not only saves time but also makes it easier to find your favorite outfits. Follow these steps to get your closet in top shape.
Empty and sort
Start by emptying your entire closet. Take everything out so you can see what you have.
Sort your clothes into categories: keep, donate, and discard. Only keep items that you love, wear often, or have sentimental value.
Categorize and arrange
Group similar items together. For example, put all your shirts, pants, dresses, and jackets in separate categories.
Arrange these categories in your closet by type, color, or season. You might want to hang all your dresses together, followed by blouses and then jackets, organized by color from light to dark.
Maximize space
Use storage solutions like shelves, bins, or hanging organizers to maximize your closet space. Shelves are great for folded items like sweaters, while bins can store accessories or shoes.
Utilize vertical space by adding hooks or over-the-door racks for bags, scarves, or belts.
Maintain regularly
Regularly go through your closet to remove items you no longer wear. This keeps your closet tidy and prevents clutter from building up.
After laundry day, take the time to properly fold and store clothes back in their designated spots.
